| In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 4, 2014, the Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter was transporting a patient from Waurika, Oklahoma to Wichita Falls, TX for treatment. Shortly before they arrived at the receiving hospital, the helicopter crashed, injuring Leslie, and her paramedic partner Erasmus “Johan” van der Colff. Leslie died of her injuries four days later on October 8, 2014. |
