Lisa was a talented, hard-working paramedic and a dedicated supervisor. She was always ready for the next call. She took great interest in her work and gave the best care to her patients. Lisa was a leader who always made everyone around her very comfortable. "She had only been with us a short while but in rescue, two years is a long time. We are family here and Lisa was a big part of it," stated a co-worker.<br />

Lisa LaBrusciano, 29, died in the line of duty on September 16, 2008. She was pulling duty and awakened by a call. While getting ready she fell unconscious. Immediate lifesaving efforts were administered by her partner and she was taken to a nearby hospital where she died of sudden cardiac arrest.<br />

Lisa obtained the title of supervisor with DVA EMS, part of Genesee County Emergency Medical Services. She was well respected in the EMS community.<br />
<br />
Paramedic LaBrusciano was a mother with three children. They were the light of her life and she enjoyed all the time she spent with them, always sharing stories with them. She will be greatly missed.<br />
