When that call for help came in, David was always ready to lend a helping hand. As he boarded the plane, his heart started pounding and he would ask what the call is this time.<br />

David Eric Spencer Brooks, 36, of Seattle, Washington was killed in the line of duty on January 8, 1996. He was the piloting an air-ambulance carrying a critically ill patient from Our Lady of Lourdes Health Center in Pasco, to Spokane. The plane veered off course and crashed killing all aboard except co-worker Harold Livingston, Jr. David was co-owner of the plane and was very safety-conscious when it came to flying.<br />

Besides working for Aero Med LLC, located in Seattle, Washington, David served his country as a Marine. He flew Blackhawk helicopters and various fixed-wing aircraft. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he served as a medical pilot.<br />
<br />
David loved flying, and he loved his work in the medical field flying to help others.<br />
