Biography
On August 22, 1978, Pamela was working as an attendant for Ross Ambulance Service of Littleton. She and the driver responded to a non-emergency request for transport to the local hospital. The local first-responder crew arrived on the scene to provide patient care until the ambulance arrived.

Moments later, the patient experienced cardiac arrest and a radio call went out to request more assistance. The call was answered by a member of the Whitefield Life Squad. En route to the hospital, the driver of the ambulance lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The ambulance slid sideways and rolled over several times. Pamela was killed instantly, along with Whitefield Squad member Richard Connolly.

Pamela had worked as an emergency medical technician with Ross Ambulance for two weeks prior to the accident. Ironically, it was her first emergency run.

She was 21 years old.

Honored 1994
