James was too young to die. However, like many other young people, he died loving what he was doing, helping other people as an Emergency Medical Technician.James E. Lowe was an employee for the Magoffin County G & B Ambulance Service located in Salyersville, Kentucky. On September 14, 1992 James and his partner were making a routine patient transport when they hit a coal truck head-on. The ambulance collided with a loaded 18-wheel coal truck.
