Dennis was a paramedic in the Emergency Medical Department of Wyoming Medical Center. He was working as a paramedic for Life Flight, a vital part of the Medical Center, on April 6, 1993 when he died. Life Flight's fixed-wing aircraft was returning to the Wyoming Medical Center with a patient when it disappeared from radar just ten minutes before landing in Casper. Visibility was reduced by snow which also hampered search and rescue crews from three counties.
Dennis was an exceptionally talented emergency medical services professional who shared his experience and knowledge through teaching emergency medical services classes. His co-workers considered him their friend; he is greatly missed.
