Biography
Robertson, a graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, was a decorated U.S. Marine Corps pilot serving in Kuwait and the Middle East. He then flew for VMR-1 as a search and rescue pilot. After 10 years of military service, he re-located to Searcy and began flying for Air Evac Life Team out of Vilonia. Prior to attending Texas A&M, he attended the Harding Academy and was known as the "perfect" student: smart, respectful, caring, and always put others first. Fellow students said Kenny was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet, and always had a huge smile on his face.

Kenny spent time attempting to be a professional golfer, but settled for beating his dad. He loved camping and riding bikes with his children. He had strong Christian beliefs and embodied the Lord in many ways as he governed his household with wisdom, enthusiastically looked for service and outreach opportunities, as well as exhibited genuine concern, care and love for others. He was gifted with incredible intelligence and was a beloved counselor and friend. His love for God, family, and nation will continue to be an inspiring and wonderful example.

In the early morning hours of August 31, 2010, while responding to meet an ambulance to pick up a patient, Air Evac 30 crashed in a wooded area just off highway 95 in dense fog. Kenneth Robertson, along with the two other crewmembers, was killed in the crash.

Honored 2011
