| The SkyMed rescue helicopter from Park View Medical Center had been airborne less than two minutes when it crashed. All three members of the rescue team were killed in the accident, including Timothy Parrish, an intensive care nurse for SkyMed, and the patient he was trying to save.<br /> <br /> Co-workers describe Tim as a quiet and reserved man always willing to shoulder more than his load. He loved outdoor activities--hunting, fishing, and canoeing. He and his wife, Jane, also enjoyed white water rafting.<br /> <br /> Tim died on December 3, 1986, at the age of 28.<br /> <br /> Honored 1994 |
