He was such a dedicated person, dedicated in everyway. He only missed one day from work in 38 years. He loved being an EMT and he loved every aspect of his job. Rick was very good at patient care, and was well respected in the community. Guys like Rick don't come along everyday and will be sorely missed.<br />

Ricky A. "Rick" Seiner, 53, died in the line of duty on September 2, 2005. He was working an accident call, helping an injured driver, when a passing automobile struck him. He later died at an area hospital of his injuries.<br />
<br />
Mr. Seiner, of Bolivar, was employed by Citizens Memorial Hospital EMS. He was a 10-year veteran working as an emergency medical technician. Rick also worked for Polk County Fire and Rescue and Polk County Ambulance, and had previously worked for Polk County 911 as a dispatcher. He taught EMT board certification courses for the State of Missouri.<br />
