| Terry took his career very seriously. He was a quiet person, not a talker, but when he spoke he usually had something to say. He loved his job as an emergency medical technician and he liked teaching EMT classes. He was an outstanding professional.<br /> <br /> Terry A. Griffith, 35, was killed in the line of duty on March 10, 2000. He was part of a medical team transporting a four-month old girl from a remote Oklahoma town. En route the team encountered extremely foggy conditions; after that all contact was lost. There were no survivors.<br /> <br /> Terry had a reputation as one of the most caring individuals to work in the field of Emergency Medical Services. He was such an intelligent guy who knew his skills and worked in an easy, calm manner that made everyone around him feel comfortable.<br /> <br /> Honored 2009 |
