Biography
Pat once said, "Flying gets things done, even when it's chaotic it's calm up there." He was a well-respected EMS helicopter pilot who knew the airways inside and out.Patrick J. Graham, 51, was killed in the line of duty on June 29, 2008. He was the pilot of a medical helicopter on approach to the Flagstaff Medical Center helipad when the mid-air collision occurred.Pat was a retired Naval aviator. He received his Bachelor of Science in geology at the University of Colorado, where he met his wife, Marjie. He completed his Master of Science in military science at the Army War College in Leavenworth, Kansas. Pat loved the outdoors ? skiing, mountain biking, hiking and jogging. He always had a project going ? woodworking, tiling, fencing and re-fencing, to accommodate all of the animals that Marjie collected and he adored. Pat was obsessed with crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and "Jeopardy."Pat was generous in every sense of the word. He always did for others and wanted nothing in return. He was a sharing, caring and fun-loving person, and a wonderful husband, family member, friend and neighbor.Pat was dedicated to helping others and saving lives.Honored 2009
