Joseph Donald Snow, 32, of Clarksville, Tennessee, died in the line of duty Sunday, May 28, 2006. On May 25, Montgomery County EMS was called to Ringgold Creek to assist in locating two missing teenage boys who were last seen swimming in the area. In attempting to rescue the teenagers, circumstances became more than Joe could handle. He became a part-time EMT in 1997 with the Montgomery County EMS, later promoted to full-time employment. He received his paramedic license in 1999 and served the Response Team as a certified diver. In 2002 Paramedic Snow assumed the position of Dive Master for the Service's Emergency Response Team, and held instructor credentials in search and rescue diving, open water scuba CPROX, along with others.

Paramedic Snow gave countless hours to train and oversee the service's Emergency Response Team.
