Biography
Returning from a motor vehicle accident call, Jim Lawrence suffered a heart attack. He died upon arrival at the hospital on June 9, 1996.<br /> <br /> He served the Little Neck Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps as an EMT and crew chief for nine years. He was Vice President of the crew in 1980 and led the crew as President in 1981. He also served as training officer for four years.<br /> <br /> He is survived by his wife, Ellen Lawrence.<br /> <br /> Honored 1998
